The Philippine Normal University (PNU) welcomed eleven visiting professors from the Faculty of Education of Mahasarakham University (MSU), Thailand, for an academic visit from August 24 to 27, 2026. The exchange further strengthens PNU’s international academic partnerships and commitment to global engagement.

Warmly received by PNU administrators and key research offices, the delegation’s itinerary includes focused meetings with faculty from the Faculty of Science, Technology, and Mathematics (FSTEM) and the College of Advanced Studies (CAS). These engagements serve as a valuable platform for academic dialogue, with discussions centering on shared interests in Science and Mathematics education.

The visit comes as both institutions explore avenues to deepen their ties through collaborative research, scholarly publication, and academic mobility. This partnership directly contributes to PNU’s broader internationalization agenda, creating spaces where scholars can exchange expertise, share best practices, and expand their global networks.

As the MSU professors continue their engagements, PNU looks forward to the meaningful opportunities that will emerge from this exchange. The visit not only strengthens institutional ties between the Philippines and Thailand, but also reinforces a shared pursuit of excellence in teacher education and research.
