Philippine Normal University (PNU) Visayas, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, held a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing and orientation for the fifth cohort of the Diploma in Environment and Green Technology Education (DEGTE) scholars on August 20, 2026. The event took place at the HOD Conference Hall in the Old Capitol Building, Bacolod City.

The gathering featured the formal MOA signing alongside comprehensive briefings. These sessions covered the Negros Occidental Scholarship Program (NOSP) guidelines, the PNU Visayas DEGTE curriculum, admission procedures, and registrar-related matters. The event was attended by representatives from the Provincial Environment Management Office and NOSP, alongside PNU Visayas officials and the incoming batch of DEGTE scholars.

This continuing partnership aims to strengthen professional development opportunities while advancing environmental advocacy and green technology education throughout Negros Occidental.
