
Atty. Johmy Famorcan Fajilan has built a life marked by excellence in education, law, and finance, shaped profoundly by his education at the Philippine Normal College (PNC)—now Philippine Normal University (PNU). Atty. Fajilan began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at PNC, where he also pursued graduate studies in Science and Math Education. It was here that his passion for learning and service took firm root, laying the foundation for his multifaceted career.
From the classroom to the courtroom, Atty. Fajilan has worn many hats with distinction. He taught and coordinated at Claret School of Quezon City, later serving as a PAASCU accreditor, ensuring quality in Philippine education. His legal training, gained through a Bachelor of Laws from Far Eastern University, led him to practice law, often taking on pro bono cases for indigent clients, exemplifying his commitment to equity and social responsibility.
Beyond the borders of the country, Atty. Fajilan continued his mission in the United States, where he earned a Professional Designation in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He went on to lead Tagumpay, Inc. and the J Fajilan Group, contributing his expertise to financial empowerment in immigrant communities. His professional path, driven by discipline and compassion, enabled him to bridge cultural and economic gaps through financial education and services.
His life’s work is also defined by selfless community leadership. He has been actively involved in educational, religious, and civic organizations such as the PNU Global Alumni Association, Lions Club International, and the Glendale Filipino Seventh-Day Adventist Church. These platforms allowed him to mentor others, advocate for transformative initiatives, and strengthen the link between education and nation-building.
Atty. Fajilan’s accomplishments have earned him numerous distinctions, including membership in the Million Dollar Round Table and multiple President’s Club Awards, recognizing not just professional success but also ethical practice and service. Yet, he remains deeply grounded, channeling his achievements into scholarship programs and infrastructure support for his alma mater, always returning to the institutions that shaped his values.
