TOKYO, JAPAN – In 2017, Philippine Normal University will host the 16th Asian University Presidents Forum. Asia University in Tokyo, Japan, host of AUPF 2016 that was held from October 31 to November 03, turned over to PNU President, Dr. Ester B. Ogena, the privilege to lead next year’s annual gathering of higher education institutions (HEIs) in the region. Set on October 24-26, 2017 at Dusit Thani Manila, the event will focus on the theme “Innovations and Foresight: Education Solutions for a Better World”.
AUPF is attended by the Presidents of the different universities in Asia to strengthen networks and build collaboration among their institutions. It also allows scholars to present research works. PNU is the first university in the country to host the AUPF.
