MARIKINA – The Community Partnership and Extension Office (CPEO), together with Marikina School Division Office, successfully held a three-day In-Service Training (INSET) for the secondary teachers in Marikina last October 25-27.

The program, delivered as PNU’s extension project under Paglaum: One PNUan for Everyone (My Home, My school) Program, aimed for the continuous professional development of teachers. Among the participants were Sto. Niño High School, Malanday High School, Sta. Elena High and Marikina High School.

The INSET was made possible through the concerted efforts of Dr. Noemi A. Velario and Dr. Samuel C. Mergenio from Marikina SDO, and with the assistance of their Schools Superintendent, Dr. Helen Grace V. Go. Also in full support were various members of the PNU Community led by Prof. Serafin A. Arviola, Jr., CPEO Director, and Dr. Ester B. Ogena, PNU President.
