
MANILA – The College of Graduate Studies and Teacher Education Research (CGSTER) and the Community Partnership and Extension Office (CPEO) conducted last October 12 the extension project entitled Values Formation for ALS (Alternative Learning System) Students of Villamor High School (VHS)/Sandiwaan Learning Center.
The project aims to encourage the students to finish their studies by exposing them to a values formation program that will inculcate in them the importance of education and love for learning. There were 13 students and 3 PNU Graduate Student Facilitators – Ms. Michelle B. Aquino, Ms. Joevelle M. Formaran, and Mr. Jonathan A. Campo – in the event. Also present to assist were the CPEO staff and student volunteers.


The Values Formation for ALS Students of VHS/Sandiwaan Learning Center was made possible through the concerted efforts of Dr. Zamora, CGSTER Extension Coordinator, and Dr. Serafin A. Arviola, Jr., CPEO Director. In full support were Dr. Zenaida Reyes, Dean of CGSTER, Dr. Rosemarievic V. Diaz, Vice President for University Relations and Advancement (VPURA) and Dr. Ester B. Ogena, University President.
