PNU, EduHK host Capacity-Building Workshop on Teaching and Research for HEI Academic Personnel
Two leading teacher education institutions in the region have joined forces to advance the advocacy of fostering teacher education excellence and research rigor. The Philippine Normal University (PNU) and the Education University of Hong Kong (EduHK) spearheaded the Capacity Strengthening Program for Higher Education Institution Academic Personnel on October 28–29, 2024, at PNU’s AV Theater.
PNU Global Alumni Association holds 4th International Reunion in Nevada
In a bid to rekindle connections among PNU alumni and affirm their support for the educational initiatives of their alma mater, members of the PNU Global Alumni Association (PNU GAA) gathered for their 4th International Reunion on October 6-7, 2024, at The Orleans Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. The two-night event, themed Empowering Educators Across Borders: Uniting the World through Teaching Excellence and Scholarships, was attended by top university officials, including University President Dr. Bert J. Tuga, Vice President for Finance and Administration Dr. Lordinio A. Vergara, and Alumni Relations Office Director Dr. Maria Glenda O. De Lara. Also present were the President of the PNU North Luzon Alumni Association, Dr. Garry G. Galutera, and Eminent Alumnus Awardee Ms. Mirasol R. Dizon.
PNU launches Best Research Music Video Contest
The Philippine Normal University (PNU), through the Publication Office, launched the first-ever Best Research Music Video (BRMV) competition during a program held on October 9, 2024, at the HRD Auditorium. This first-of-its-kind contest highlights the fusion of academic research and creative expression, setting a new standard for disseminating research. The competition was organized in collaboration with the Events Management Office, the Institute of Creative Expressions and Human Movement Education, the PNU Chorale, and the Center for Sports, Culture, and Arts Development.
