
PNU holds GAD Focal Point System Assembly
The GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) Assembly 2024 was held on June 19 to 21 at the Subic Grand Harbour Hotel. The said activity gathered the GFPS Executive Committee (ExeCom) and its members to discuss critical issues, review program, and plan future initiatives to promote gender and development (GAD) within their respective offices and campuses. This annual event, mandated by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), was organized by the Gender Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Office (GEDIO) led by its Director, Prof. Iona Ofelia B. Zanoria.

Prof. Edna Imelda Fernandez-Legazpi, fondly known as Prof. Mae Legazpi, stands as a beacon of educational excellence and leadership. Currently, she holds the distinguished positions of Director IV at the Office of Student Development and Services (OSDS) and Focal Person of the Gender and Development Office (GAD) at the Commission on Higher Education. Her journey from a dedicated student to an influential leader in education is nothing short of inspiring.
GEDIO spearheads training for CODI members
The Gender Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office (GEDIO), led by its Director, Prof. Iona Ofelia B. Zanoria, conducted a training workshop for the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) members from June 27 to 29, 2024, at the Floating Sanctuary Resort in Sta. Maria, Bulacan. The primary aim of the workshop was to equip CODI members with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively conduct investigations and address issues of gender-based violence within the university.
