The Philippine Normal University held its Year-End Assembly and Christmas Program on December 19, 2022 at the PNU Quadrangle. The event was held onsite in PNU Manila for the first time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Marking his third year anniversary as the 11th University President of the Philippine Normal University, Dr. Bert J. Tuga delivered his State of the University Address (SUA) during the President’s Day 2022 held on December 9, 2022 at Edilberto P. Dagot Hall, PNU Manila.

PNU, through the Technical Working Group (TWG) on the Review and Revision of the PNU Organizational Structure (OS), successfully conducted the Stakeholders’ Forum on the Revision of the PNU OS on November 29, 2022 at the Executive Lounge and Board Room, 5th Floor, Maceda Building.

On December 2, 2022 the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) officially inaugurated the SEAMEO Research University Network (SEA-RUN) in Bangkok, Thailand. SEA-RUN is a direct response of Southeast Asian countries to the education crisis that emerged during the pandemic.

The Philippine Normal University, through the Linkages and International Office (LIO), hosted the delegates of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) at the Executive and Lounge and Board Room on November 23, 2022 for an Academic Visit and MOU Signing Ceremony.
