September marks the birth month of Philippine Normal University, the country’s Center for Teacher Education. In the week-long celebration of its 114^th Founding Anniversary on September 1- 4, the University successfully launched various activities participated by its faculty, staff, and students.

The Higher Education Research Forum 2015 was successfully held on 19-20 August 2015 at the Century Park Hotel, Malate Manila.  The forum was organized by the collaborative effort of the seven founding members of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges-National Capital Region (PASUC-NCR) Research Consortium, now known as the Philippine Higher Education Research Consortium. The consortium is comprised of the following founding institutions:  Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Philippine Normal University, Technological University of the Philippines, Rizal Technological University, Eulogio Amang Rodriquez Institute of Science and Technology, Philippine State College of Aeronautics and the Marikina State College.
