Staff (SY 2005 – 2006)

Lolita H. Nava holds a Ph.D. in Education degree from U.P., a master's degree in guidance and counseling from PNC, and a bachelor's degree in elementary education (cum laude) from PNC.

She was recipient of the Maria Valdez Ventura Scholarship and a University Scholar while at UP. She got the “Research Award” for best dissertation and “Scholarship Award” for academic excellence from the College of Education, UP.

She did post-doctoral studies in educational testing and measurement at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA under the US-RP Faculty Development Program sponsored by USAID and Asia Foundation.

She is lecturer, paper presenter, participant in various national and international conferences, fora and seminars on research, education, and other related fields. She is project director/consultant of institutional and commissioned/funded researches awarded to the University from government and non-government institutions/ organizations such as BEE (Dep.Ed.), BNFE (Dep.Ed.), CHED, PIL (Microsoft). HURIGHTS, Osaka, etc. She was the 2005 National Awardee as Research and Evaluation Specialist of the PNU Aumni Association.

Maria Carmela T. Mancao, Ed. D. is a regular faculty-researcher at the Center for Research and Development in Education, PNU. To date, she had published no less than 24 research papers on various issues concerning institutional, instructional and student development. She finished a Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies in Loyola University of Chicago and a doctorate at Cebu Normal University, Cebu City.

Ma. Victoria C. Hermosisima is a faculty-researcher of the Center for Research and Development in Education, PNU. She specialized in Measurement and Evaluation for her MA in Education in this University. In 1989, she finished a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.

Edna Luz R. Abulon is a full-time Faculty Researcher of the University. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology (Magana cum laude) from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and her Master’s Degree in Educational Measurement and Evaluation from the Philippine Normal University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical Psychology at the University of the Philippines – Diliman.
