PRODUCTION
The College of Education envisions itself as a center for creative development and research-oriented teacher education activities contributing its full share to the development of Filipino teachers as exemplars of academic excellence and leadership in education as it reaches out to the rest of the world.
It likewise envisions its teacher-graduate as a total person and professional who:
- manifests a high level professional competence in the fields of pedagogy;

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
INSTRUCTION
Goal 1 – Quality and Value-Oriented
- Provide quality preservice and graduate teacher education through relevant, responsive, meaningful, and value-oriented curricular programs.
- Develop and conduct quality inservice training programs responsive to the continuing demand for professional development of teachers and school managers.
RESEARCH
Goal 2 – Knowledge Generation
- Expand the existing knowledge base of the teaching and learning processes through collaborative and participatory research involvement of faculty and students.
- Initiate relevant research undertakings on teacher education with teachers in the field and educators in other teacher education institutions.
EXTENSION
Goal 3 – Relevance and Responsiveness
- Integrate development-oriented extension programs and community immersion activities in the curricular and instructional programs.
- Extend existing programs and academic services to other institutions in the local scene and abroad.
- Develop and conduct quality inservice training programs responsive to the continuing demand for professional development of teachers and school managers.
PRODUCTION
Goal 4 – Creativity
- Enhance the creative capability of faculty and students in the development of new teacher education models, curricular programs, delivery modes and production of indigenous and technology-based teaching-learning materials.
- Evolve and try-out innovative programs and projects through an intensified networking system with other teacher education institutions and cooperating schools.
